EXCELLENT pattern but makes VERY full flower
To reduce fullness, adjust to 6 petals (instead of 8)
Make starting stitch count divisible by 6 – start with making 12 stitch ring
Follow instructions in this video to create flower (with noted adjustment above to change to 6 petals)
