FRILL ROW
Working in front loops, *Make 4 sc in next sc. In next sc, sl st **
Repeat * to ** around (you may need to fudge your last frill loop a bit to match).
PETAL ROW
NOTE: You can vary the length of the petals by reducing/increasing the number of chains.
Working in back loops, start in sc that is at the base of loop of previous row –you’ll make each petal come out of the low spot of the frill. *Ch 12, then work down chain as follows: 1 sc in 2nd st from hook, then continue to sc in each chain stitch. Sl st into base and tighten. Skip 1 sc and make loose sc into 2nd sc**. Continue around the base, making petal into every other sc.
TIP: The ch 12 is very floppy so it’s easy to mistakenly flip it to the wrong side. Try to make sure you hold the chain straight and make the sc’s down the chain without twisting.
Fasten off.
