010-C Easy Large Floppy Flower

  • Petals worked one-by-one

  • Work stitches fairly tight to give flower enough body

  • Not easy to make color changes so best to use solid or variegated yarn


START

Ch 10, join with slst on the first ch to form a base ring.

ROW 1 (BASE)

Ch 1, 15 sc in ring. Join with sl st in 1st chain.

ROW 2 (PETAL ROW 1)

Ch 16, turn.

ROW 3 (PETAL ROW 2)

1 sc in 2nd st from hook, working down chain 2sc, 1hdc, 7dc, 1hdc, 3sc, 1 sc in front loop onto

the 1 sc of the center ring.

ROW 4 (PETAL ROW 3)

1 sc in 2nd st from hook, 1sc, 1hdc, 9dc, 1hdc, 2sc, turn.

R0W 5 (PETAL ROW 4)

1 sc in 1st st from hook, 1 hdc, 9dc, 1hdc, 3sc, 1sc in front loop onto the

2nd st of the center ring, turn.

ROW 6 (PETAL ROW 5)

1 sc in 2nd st from hook, 1sc, 1hdc, 9dc, 1hdc, 2sc, turn.

ROW 7 (PETAL ROW 6)

1 sc in 1st st from hook, 2sc, 1hdc, 7dc, 1hdc, 3sc, 1sc in front loop onto

the 3rd st of the center ring, turn.

REST OF PETALS

Repeat petal rows 1-6 5 more times to make 6 petals total.

Fasten off.
