005-C Easy Multi-Petal Flower

• Each petal can be different color

START

Ch 4, join with sl st to form ring.

ROW 1 (BASE)

Ch 1 (counts as 1 dc) and then 2 dc into ring.

Ch 6, then sl st into base of last dc to form a loop. Then 3 dc into ring. *Repeat till you have 6 loops (you may need to wiggle to make room). Fasten off.

ROW 2 (1st PETAL)

With new color, sl st where you fastened off.

Into the ch-6 loop, make 10 treble crochets (10 tc). Then slip into second dc from ch-6 loop.

*(In next ch-6 loop, 10 tc, sl st into second dc from ch-6 loop) Repeat all the way round. Fasten off.

ROW 3 (BASE FOR 2nd PETAL)

Attach new yarn where you fastened off. Ch 4. Hold chain in back and make 1 dc in slip stitch from previous row. *(Ch 4, make 1 dc in slip stitch below) Repeat all the way around – 6 times total. Sl st in first chain to complete.

ROW 4 (BASE FOR 2nd PETAL)

Ch 1 – counts as 1 dc. Now work 3 dc into each ch-4 loop all the way around. Continue with 4 dc into each ch-4 loop till end. Sl st into ch 1. 24 dc.

R0W 5 (BASE FOR 2nd PETAL-LOOPS)

You’re now going to make the little loops for the next row of petals. Ch 1 – counts as 1 dc. 2 dc then ch 6, then slip st in to base of dc (to form loop). Continue with 3 dc, ch 6 and sl st into base all around – you should have 8 loops.

ROW 6 (2nd PETAL)

Sl st into 2nd dc from hook. Then 10 tc (treble crochet) into ch-6 loop. Repeat all the way around. Sl st into starting point of row. Fasten off.

ROW 7 (BASE FOR 3rd PETAL)

Attach new yarn where you fastened off. Ch 5. Hold chain in back and make 1 dc in slip stitch from previous row. *(Ch 6, make 1 dc in slip stitch below) Repeat all the way around – 8 times total. Sl st in first chain to complete.

ROW 8 (BASE FOR 3rd PETAL)

Now work 5 dc into each ch-6 loop, then 1 dc into dc from previous row, then ch 6 and sl st into base of the dc. Work all the way around. Sl st into ch 1.

ROW 9 (3rd PETAL)

Sl st into 3rd dc from hook. Then 12 tc (treble crochet) into ch-6 loop. Repeat all the way around. Sl st into starting point of row. Fasten off.
