Use knitting needle sized to the thickness of your yarn.
Just continue making rounds until you make the size flower you want!
You knit this flat and when done, sew a seam to make a circle.
NOTE: You can also make your flower with GARTER stitch (instead of stockinette as described below). Just knit every row (instead of alternating knit/purl).
START
Cast on 8 stitches.
ROW 1
K1, yo (yarn over) to last stitch, K1.
ROW 2 and ALL EVEN NUMBER ROWS
Purl across all stitches. In the yarn over stitches, purl to allow a small hole to form.
ROW 3
K1, *yo K2* repeat to end.
ROW 5
K1, *yo K3* repeat to end.
CONTINUE
Continue increasing every knit row to desired length (6-7").
FINISHING
Cast off loosely.
Sew seam to make circle.
Attach yarn ties (5-6) around edge.
