SPECIAL STITCHES:

Beg PS (beginning puff stitch): sl st in indicated st/sp, pull through, [yo, insert hook in same, yo, pull through] 4 times, yo, pull through 9 loops on hook, tighten slightly, ch 1 to close


PS (puff stitch): [yo, insert hook in same, yo, pull through] 4 times, yo, pull through 9 loops on hook, tighten slightly, ch 1 to close


Picot: ch 3, sl st into bottom chain

START

Ch 3, join with slst on the first ch to form a base ring.

ROW 1

Ch 3 (counts as dc), 11 dc into ring, Join with Sl st on 3rd chain.

ROW 2

Attach yarn in any dc. Beg PS, ch 1, *PS in next st, ch 1** repeat 11 times. Sl st in beg PS.

ROW 3

Attach yarn in any ch-1 sp. Ch 3 (counts as a dc), 2 dc in same sp, ch 1, skip PS, *3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1, skip PS** repeat 11 times. Sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch-3.

ROW 4 (POINTED PETALS)

Attach color in 2nd dc of 3 dc group. Ch 3 (counts as a dc), (2 dc, picot, 3 dc) in same st, skip dc and ch-1 space), FPdc around PS of round 2 (loosen yarn a bit to allow for some slack), skip dc. [(3 dc, picot, 3 dc in next st, skip (dc, ch-1 sp), FPdc around PS of round 2, skip dc] 11 times. Joint with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch-3.


Fasten off.
